Business School of Vocational Studies – Blace has accredited distance learning for the study program Computer Science and Informatics
In the school year 2013/2014, 30 students will be enrolled.
In the implementation of teaching within the study program Computing and Informatics – distance learning, it is planned to combine different methods: lectures over the Internet with teaching materials and guidelines from teachers through the LMS Moodle system; exercises over the Internet with simulations and problem solving in recommended programming environments and with guidance from teachers through the LMS Moodle system; occasional lectures in the school classroom; occasional exercises in the school laboratory; interactive work within the discussions on the material in electronic consultations through the forum of the LMS Moodle system; interactive work within the discussions on the material in classical consultations; encouraging individual learning; collaborative learning with guidance from teachers through the LMS Moodle forum; homework; research; summarizing materials; regular self-checks and knowledge tests and continuous monitoring of student success.
At the beginning of each semester, on each course of the study program, on the school site of the LMS Moodle system, it is planned to publish: recommended literature, instructions for learning, schedule of regular teaching activities through the LMS Moodle system, as well as schedule of occasional classical classes. classrooms and computer labs). During the semester, the schedule of both forms of teaching is maximally adjusted to the students, through the LMS Moodle system it distributes teaching material for each lesson material and provides constant interactive work with teachers.
The study program designed in this way would be adapted to different study conditions (students who are employed, have family obligations, special needs ).
